About Us

the PIA project -
Pacific Islanders are underrepresented in higher education, but they are excluded from many underrepresented minority (URM) academic programs. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation focused on calling attention to and solving this problem - while serving as a resource for Pacific Islander scholars and URM academic programs who want to connect with each other.
